Sociologist Erving Goffman said, "We all act. Our home is backstage, the public is the stage." Whether in a social, emotional, or spatial context, the staging and deception employed by cinema and theater encompasses all areas of life. My career path will show you how to combine these components.
After finishing Montessori elementary school, I transferred to an eco-secondary school to get my high school diploma. I then became a carer for people with disabilities, then studied sociology, and later, by chance, earned a master's degree in flooring. Eventually, I worked as the commercial managing director of a 20-person painting company.

At 25, I had the insight to do what all the signs in my life were pointing towards. I continued to go through life with my eyes open, hopefully one day ending up where it made the most sense for me and the film world.

At some point, I was living in a van in Hollywood, working day shifts as a Green Lantern on Hollywood Blvd, and writing scripts in my car bed at night. Without a work visa, I returned to Vienna, where I sold my car to produce my first film, "Am Erdbeerstand" (AUT, 6 min). The film won around 40 awards worldwide.
